But I don't know about the execution. It seems like an excuse to make stoner jokes. Some parts of the story did have some great humor but....a lot of it seemed irrelevant. Two characters were pointlessly made into stoners and a lot of the humor seemed forced.

Personally, it would have been better if there was more of a focus on "We went to space, damnit." and less "heheheh....weed."

I'm an anime fan and got a few smirks out of the "fun poking" of anime's various cliches. Despite this, I didn't find the flash funny or entertaining. Certain jokes were overused or just simply weren't well executed.

Drawing is good, as ever.

But most of all, I felt it was a little too long. I say this, even though I think Metal Gear Solid is a brilliant work of writing, it needs MAJOR EDITING. If a MGS fanboy like myself says something needs editing....it needs editing. Even if you're parodying the various redundant moments in anime, it only took away from the enjoyment.

Still...5 for the effort.
